CNS provided a range of 15 – 19 Million for the added liability value that would be created if the reduced spousal option were approved. - Communications Report – Kibbe
At least one out of state retiree reported they had received poor response from AON re: insurance issuesJudy raised the question as to who is responsible for retaining/upkeep of the member’s roster (new and current). Bob stated a meeting was needed between himself Rupert and Kibble to establish a formal statement of responsibilities.
• Annual Meeting – Sherrod
The newspapers reported about 100 were in attendance. There were only 60 ticket issued, however it was suspected that several members were present that did not pick up a ticket, and there were 15 Board Members present. Additionally, there were numerous visitors, thus the 100 number was about right.
• Website Management – Hightower
The website has been updated and needs a volunteer knowledgeable enough of computers for routine management of the website. Dave Mason volunteered to give it a try.
• December Meeting – Bob noted that he would not be available for the December meeting since his surgery was scheduled for that day. He suggested and it was agreed that with the holidays upon us there would be no December Meeting.
